Default my trackday video

had a blast at putnam yesterday.
I'm in the blue suit on the R6. Ped is filming. riding an 06 FZ6 with modified gearing so he could keep up.
Pretty slow first lap or so, until I unleash the rath of an R6 upon an Aprillia mille R and say see ya!
I get away for a few laps but ped is actually able to catch back up.
(only because I slowed down for him, I wanted to be on camera some)
check out the video around 8:30. ped damn near looses control but saves it I think most riders would have went down or at least off track. but he recovers and keeps on going like it didn't happen.
balls of steel!!!

Awesome vid!

Ped is one lucky SOB...that could've gone either way real quick and I thought it was going to end a bit more violently. Good save man.

not only a good save, but he got right back on. I prolly would have been shaken up and slowed the next turn down, but he was right back on it.

Great riding on both your parts though! That R6 Screams!

thanks everyone. that was pretty hairy and i ended up in the air when it bucked, felt way more violent than it looked! i was playing with gearing and had a bit more torque than i thought and/or usually do right there. plus my tires were really worn going into the TD and it was REALLY hot out....im sure some higher pressures coulda made it a bit better as i started sliding around alot after that session.

Nice camera and angle that they/you, whoever installed on that.
One of the clearer angles and images I have seen from a bike mounted
camera that was not on the Pro level.

Also, good riding as far as keeping a safe distance on the slower rider until
you made your move.

Looks like a fun track, if a bit on the patchy side.

thanks the picture takes a major cut in quality when uploaded and put on the net.
and yeah its just a trackday. what funny is that was intermediate (aka meatgrinder group) and there were no problems other than a guy went down the first lap in front of me due to cold tires. it was the advanced group that everyone was being too agressive a taking people out. the last 5 sessions were red flagged because of it. one of my buddies was taken out in A from a guy shoving him off the track.
