Default New Video Palomar Mountain 4-7-07

New Video Palomar Mountain 4-7-07

Ok so this one I call "How the weather changes" on the mountain. This is a good example of how much the weather changes on the mountain check out some of the footage where visibility is pretty low. The road stayed dry towards the top I started a ways up and after 20 mins or so the clouds came up the hill so I went up a few turns more and did some more again the clouds chased me. So check ouit the footage. I did 2 views of each turn with on board footage for a 3rd view then in the upper turn I also did 2 other angles with a few passes seemed to work ok for mixing them all together would be happy to hear what ya'll think. I will be doing a timelapse of the of all angles and mixing them somehow in a video shortly that should be cool watching the clouds roll in. O0 O0 O0

Ok I watched it early since you added that youtube link...

I think you are making huge strides every week and the editing on this video is pretty sweet. My favorite part is when you're goin into a corner first person and it switches to the road cam of you passing the same corner...bad ass!

My only suggestion is...try and smooth out the transitions more. Sometimes the transitions between shots are abrupt and it looks rough.

I'm going to put together my footage from Monte tonight...my stupid battery for my cam will only hold a 40 minute charge now so I missed out on all my best footage. I was pissed.

Thanks for the feedback I'm working on the transitions trying to match them up to the beat of the music but some of the music I use ie TOOL is very ODD Metered music so its hardto do good transitions. I'm trying tho Bummer about your camera battery I cna't tell you how many times I had a great ride and looked at the camera only to find it shut off or some crap like that whcih is y I now have 4 batteries 2 for each camera and I tape them in with duct tape I also tape the switches cause they have bumped off on me and tape the connections from the onboard lenses

oh ya btw I did 3 views at once onboard and 2 road side cameras first time doing that and I also did 2 other variations along with filming on two differnent turns

Must be nice to have so many cameras that you can get three angles at once...ha ha ha!

Yeah the music you use makes it hard to match the beat...just try the transitions without matching and you'll see how it usually works out anyway.
