Watched the movie tonight. Wasn't what I thought. Wasn't that good. I should have been called Track day at the TT.

I thought it wasn't bad. I liked seeing how they set the bike up and how the guy approached the Mountain course. It was a little dry though, I'd never ask someone who wasn't obsessed with motorcycles to try to sit through it.

Just Google One Man's Isle... I forget where I got it, but you'll find out with one quick search... so, you like bikes too?

yeah. sorry for the over enthusiasm and typo's. I like racing in general. motorcycle and airplane mostly, but, airplane is rather hard to follow. But i do like bikes. I am eager to learn more abou them, but it's hard. I don't know where to start. I am gradually reading every tech forum i can, but, it doesn't start you out with a "begginers section". so, when someone suggests a 520 chain, i'm lost. i don't assume anything, i just am lost. so i go and investigate it, and ugh.

Who knows, maybe mechanics school will be in order for me.

I really liked it. It was really down to earth and realistic, a much different approach than you normally see. It was interesting to me how he ended up where he was and how he justified the risk and whatnot. Even the existential meanderings were somewhat interesting to me. Best of all, he was racing a bike that was identical to mine. When Faster is too fast-paced for me and I want some mellow motorcycling in the real world I reach for One Man's Island.
