It really did. When cold, the needle would bounce up and down and sometimes the bike would just die. Idle was real rough. Seems to idle/run much better now.

My needle bounces alot when mine is cold too...even while idling its pretty rough. Maybe I'll have to do that this year...

Yeah, I think it's somewhat normal, but on mine it was pretty bad with the slipon. After the PC3, when cold, it initially bounces a couple of times and then it smoothes out.
