the pic of the bridge with the white cables, that looks a lot like the one going into maysville ky from ohio. if it is, you were almost in my back yard.
in kentucky, there are tons of great riding. not much scenery but if you wanted a good sportbike romp, you weren't far from great stuff.

It really is a cool place to visit. I wish I had a bit more time... But there's always next time!
That bridge crosses the Ohio River from Huntington, WV into Proctorville, OH. I stopped and took the picture because I also used to live in Huntington, and remember how huge and awesome it looked. As is often the case, it wasn't as monstrous as I remember it as a child, but still a cool bridge.
