Looks good, very unique. How many liters of storage do the cases give you?

EDIT: nevermind about the liters of storage....I see that it is setup for your laptop and whatnot

Got around to doing ver 1.2. I was trying to avoid a cross brace to keep things a bit cleaner but the weight was just too much and eventually fatigued one of the brackets.

Rewelded it, and added the lower cross brace. Feels bombproof now!!!!!!

Kinda liked having the cases off, but soon realized that I want to ride too much and can't carry all the things I need to. So the cases went back on.

With those top loaders do you get much wind resistance? What steered you from the side loading? I have an FZ6 and want to do something extremely similar to your setup. I am still teetering between the top or the side loader. Next I guess is me buying a side rack setup b/c I don't know how to weld...

Very nice, I came up with my own home made solution with a locking Givi case - for others thinking about making a luggage system, have a read at my project in my signature link. Cost about 160 for a used Givi E45 off ebay and my passenger seat plastic base.

Sorry for the slow reply guys. My email notifications must not be working.

I did the top loaders because one is set up for my laptop, files and camera, all with the foam. Don't want anything falling out when opened.

Picture from when it was set up for just the laptop.

Thanks.

Sometimes I feel like taking them off, but damn they are handy. Makes it so I can ride the bike way more places.
