I wouldn't think either one would be classified as "comfortable"
Motorcyclist Magazine usually has a pretty good "ergonomics" section when they do sportbike tests

+1, besides man, we can sit here all day and say "this bike is more comfy than such and such bike" just go out and sit on em, and see what you like more. be careful though, once you sit on the damn bike your likely to buy it right then and there. happend to me with the SV.

Neither one is ideal for "sport-touring".

I'm sick of this question. It depends on more than your height and weight!

Go sit on them! Otherwise, you can think about it all you want, but you'll never know for sure.

I would go and sit on them both and see how they feel, the 600rr has a brick of a seat and take awhile to get use to. The gsxr gets uncomfortable on long distances also, I did 1300 miles on my gsxr in a day and a half and didn't get back on the bike for a week.

The GSXR tends to stretch you out and put a lot of weight and your wrists. I would ofter see shorter riders on these bikes, which never made any damn sense. They were stretched all over the tank to reach the bars. The CBR is more compact and upright, but the seat is stiff as a board. It even makes the not so great seat on the F4i seem pretty comfortable. I think a ZX6R (or 636) might be a better choise.

i had an 05 600rr. not good for touring. if comfort is really a priority, why not look at a sport touring bike? interceptor? i know it has that ST look, but it will be so much better for touring. i picked up an RC51 this winter...it's even worse than the 600rr for the long stuff. the seat is better though.

you'd have a better seat on the suzuki, but it's still a full on sportbike.

Hardley any of the newest generation sportbikes are what I would call "comfortable", but comparing just those two... it's a hard call. The CBR seat is rock hard, but the ergo's a a litle more compact and upright. Most GSXR's I've ridden had pretty good seats, but they wear stretched out and put some weight on you wrists.

You'll have to sit on both. I personally would lean towards the CBR. Seats are easier to change than trying ot modify the pegs and bar positions. You should see if a aftermarket seat like a Corbin is available if you are seriously going to ride long distances.

Sit on both long enough that you've far surpassed the point of feeling stupid for sitting on it for so long. You can't tell what a bike is going to do to your butt, knees, elbows, and wrists after sitting on it for 10 seconds on a showroom floor.
If touring is your goal, I don't think either will be comfortable for very long. If you want to tour 2 up, I can guarantee neither one is a good choice.
