Bike Luggage
I want to get some saddle bags and a tail bag for my Kat, so I've been looking around at some of the luggage on New Enough ( http://www.newenoughhp.com/product_d...nt_luggage.htm).
I don't know how any of it is going to fit on my bike without modification such as moving the rear turn signals. Does anybody have any recommendations for bags that should fit without any headache? I'm really liking the Tour Master Cortech saddle bags and tail bag.

You have an extra parenthesis in your link. You might want to fix that.
Anyway, I'm using the tour master sport saddle bags and probably would get the matching tail pack when I'm tired of the oxford. The main reason are the pipes are the mid height pipes so the sport ones fit much better. There is just enough room and the bottoms of the bags are heat resistant. The sport bags hold enough for riding around the country two weeks. I'll be doing three weeks in June with the same gear although I might replace the oxford tailbag before then.
You can check http://www.schelin.org/personal/plan...de/stage2.html for the list I use for trip planning. Lots of pics of the 'busa loaded up on the main site.

I really lilke my Tour Master saddle bags. I wouldn't think you would have to modify your turnsignals to use them. They should work quite well. Mine are a little close to my pipes sometimes, but I haven't had any toruble with them.
Click the link to read about them. Tourmaster SB-34 saddlebag review.

The only reason I was concerned about turn signals is because I've seen several bikes that had needed modification for bags to fit correctly. I think I'm just going to order the Cortech bags, and if there's any problems, that gives me an excuse to chop off the rear fender.

sounds like a pretty good plan to me.
i love my cortech sport luggage. i have the tailbag, mini-magnetic tank bag, and the saddle bags. everything fits great, with no tail light problems. just make sure everything is tight and a safe distance away from your pipe, and your good to go.

I doubt you will have any problems with the bags on the Katana. That bike should have plenty of tail room to accommodate almost any bag.

Yeah, the damn thing is so big that I could probably hook a semi trailer to it and nobody would ask me questions.

I've used my Nelson-Rigg bags on 3 bikes, and you can always tie the straps differently to make the luggage work.
