Not sure what my facination is with dirt roads.

Arizona cops are fun. Busted me for 57 in a 55. Don't tell him I was doing 80 when my spider sense went off

Just across the bridge in Glen Canyon

Canyonlands National Park in Utah
And that's mostly it (I have a few other pics but they aren't as good as these)
Oh yea, first post.

Thanks. I found the place by accident. I was searching on Steering Dampers and there was a thread here. I thought I'd pop in and look around and here you are. I figured I'd stick around and expose more folks to my ride reports
Next big trip is up to Labrador by way of Virginia. 8000 miles or so and three weeks of riding and camping. I can't wait.
(Oh, and I don't get vacation days. I'm a consultant. If I don't work, I don't get paid. Last year in addition to my normal 30 days of time off, the place I'm consulting for required an additional week per quarter of "furlough". So I was able to go more places. This year my three week vacation is paid for but only because I have 200 hours of billable overtime )
See you
Carl

Wow dm_gsxr, you sure get around on that thing. Great to see.
Unfortunately we were busy building a house last summer, so that cut into some of my riding time. The only real trip I went on was last August. I met up with another Busa owner and we rode up to Copper Mountain in Colorado to Suzuki's Cyclefest. One of the Hayabusa message boards was having a gathering up there, so there were plenty of other Busa guys to hang out with and go riding with. We made it up to Loveland Pass and Independence Pass which were both pretty cool. Took off riding by myself a little too. Overall I didn't do as much riding as I might have wanted to, just because it was neat to hang out with all the other guys that have only met on the internet up until then.
Looking forward to maybe getting a little more adventurous this year.

We're buying a house in a couple months so my touring will be a little lighter this year. Gotta get that income up a bit.
Yea, that was MileHighBusaOwners. There was a bit of a writeup in SuperSportbike I think, back in December. I wanted to go to Copper Mountain but I had plans for the trip to Canada.
I do want to ride as much as last year but I think I'll be doing more weekend rides than week/multi-week rides.
Maybe a quick ride down to Arizona. That road's calling me big time
(Nice pics of the copper 'busa.)
