steeltoe is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Need one piece oversuit under $300

For cold weather riding I'd like a one piece with armor, weatherproof, not a $500 Aerostitch. Textile not leather, something I can roll up in a bag. Reason being typical Carolina fall/winter can be a 60-70F in the day and 30F the same night. Tough to carry a bunch of cloths around.

When I left the house to go to work this morning. Gave me an excuse to try out my new FieldSheer Highland 1-piece. I was toasty warm with the exception of my fingers when I got to work 34 miles from my house. I need to get some good cold weather gloves and i'll be all set. The Schampa balaclava kept my face and neck warm inside my helmet and the suit did the rest. Well worth the $269 I paid for it this weekend.

I've pulled that off but it might not be feasible for you. I just bought some closeout textile pants and jacket that I liked with good armor (much bigger selection) and had my mom sew a zipper on. I never unzipped it, it was basically a one-piece. You can get a tailor to do the sewing but some charge waaaay too much.

The Fieldsheer Highland is $219 on eBay right now. I am thinking about getting one but don't know if it will wrinkle my Dockers or not.

If you're interested in one of those highland suits, shoot me an email. I can get you one for $225 shipped to your door.

They're pretty sweet too. Warmer than my alpinestars jet road gear.

I don't know how well it would roll up for you, but, Try the Firstgear Thermo one peice. They generally go fro around 150. I'm thinking about this one for this winter. Has anybody ever used one?
