I have one Teknic tank bag but don't know the model. I don't like it at all. Do you have a picture of the one you want to purchase?

This is one of the sites that sells it, but I'm trying to get it for about 2/3 that price from a fellow 500 rider

It's a nice bag for the price. Clear pouch is handy on long trips for those of us poor folk who can't afford GPS.

That's the one I have. Yea, it's cheap so it's better than having nothing.

The thing I dislike about it, there is nothing holding up the sides of the bag, so if it’s party empty, it will just hang there shapeless and blow around in the wind. The map window is also hard to get to, from the inside, there is a slit in the material. The material is not a cordura, but some wind-breaker type material, shiny and very thin. Zipper is small and cheap too. Magnets and small too.

Just a bad design IMO. I have a cheap Chase Harper tank bag that I used for two years and loved it. So cheap doesn't necessarily need to be bad.

Hell, if you really want it, I’ll sell you mine for 2/3 of the price.

I'm actually getting a new Nelson-Riggs bag that my 'rents are buying for me on Ebay to help me carry stuff since my saddle bags got a little damaged when I got hit and went down earlier this week a brand new MG-950

A tank bag without decent side support is a drag. I've got a Fox one that suffers from this problem.
If you want something well made, but not too expensive, check out Nelson-Riggs. I have a small tankbag and a tail bag from them and they are great. Very well thoughtout and made.

I like the Nelson-Rigg luggage, that is what I use on the 954RR. It's well made, looks good and is not all that expensive.
