Default new touring jacket

Just grabbed myself a new touring jacket, retiring my old Triumph Trophy jacket. This new jacket is da bomb! IXS Cobra jacket, very similar to the BMW Tourguard jacket. The IXS jacket comes with the removable PCM liner (a $175 option for the Beemer gear). I have only had it a couple of days, and need a good downpour to really be convinced, but so far, very nice! I have a pair of IXS pants, and they have been great so I am pretty confident the jacket will be too!

· ergonomically designed, adjustable width sleeves with glove channel

· 2 inside and 6 outside pockets (2 of which are waterproof)

Ugh I wouldn't want to be wearing that in hot weather. Looks like an oven.

if it was really hot, yeah it's a bit much. I have leather gear for that weather. But when it's in it's temperature range 10° C to 22° C (50° to 72°) the liner works really well. Pretty high-tech

That looks sharp... how much did it set you back?

Riding isn't only about the scratching on a Sunday morning. Sometimes it's about the 400 mile ride on Saturday to get to where you'll be scratching on Sunday morning with a 400 mile ride home that evening.
