Good riding pants?

I'm really happy with my alpine star jacket after a couple of years of service, but I'm in dire need of some riding pants that offer cold weather protection. I usually ride in jeans (always have) and as I get older I get colder faster. If anyone has some recommendations I'd love to hear them. I'm a tall rider (6''5") so fit is usually a problem.

I have a pair of IXS Gemini pants. They are Gore-Tex, have a removable thermal liner, and can be worn over jeans (liner out) or just as pants (liner in).
