Default Little help...

I know most people hate hardleys and such but....

.....I have a friend who is having a few setbacks trying to put forward controls and a new alternator in his 1998 Sportster 883. Anybody be able to throw up any advice?

If so I'll be a liason and tell you what he needs and tell him what he should do......I've already told him to sell it but that didn't work. He said most of the harley/sportster forums all just told him to buy a manual...what nice guys! Thanks a ton!

Search online for a manual, without some specific questions it will be pretty hard to get any answers maybe try Buell Motorcycle Forums, Information, Tech Support, Photos, Performance Parts, & Advice - BadWeB they seem to actually ride and spanner thiers not just pose in the drive.

you need a manual to replace the alternator on that bike, no ifs, ands or buts about it. To many torque values and such. With the forward controles I think on that year the brackets replace the front motor mounts. Oh, angry? I'll race your chodestar any day on my sporty
