Speed Triple To become a true icon is no easy feat. But from its very first incarnation over a decade ago the Speed Triple assumed just that status, mixing a primal three-cylinder core with sporting ability and an aggressive, stripped-down stance.

Default 675 Speed Triple

I heard a rumour that Triumph will be releasing a Speed Triple with the 675 engine. Has anybody else heard this?

If Triumph did this I would be very interested.

I might have to look into that myself. I've been wanting a speed triple for awhile now.

I love them, too. Just the front lights don't suit my taste too much but that can be fixed with the right tools :-) The rieview of the 675 cc engine sounds very promising.

the 675 definily a winner. and if they do this one like the speed 4 it will have more torque than the daytona. I think the daytona has more hp and almost as much torque as the 955i. mine got 107hp on the dyno stock. tops out at 160(indicated 167) and get there quick.

Smile 675 Speed Triple

UK weekly MCN had a 'spy' picture of a Triumph tester apparently testing a prototype 675 S3 a couple of months back. MCN are usually pretty much on the money with their predictions, I pre-ordered and bought both my S3 1050 last year and my Daytona 675 this year on the back of MCN tip-offs!

Both obviously materialised.
