Speed Triple To become a true icon is no easy feat. But from its very first incarnation over a decade ago the Speed Triple assumed just that status, mixing a primal three-cylinder core with sporting ability and an aggressive, stripped-down stance.

Default New Cans for My Triple

Went to the dealer, saw they had a pair of Jardine cans in stock, and couldn’t go home empty handed.

Initial impressions (with the stock map still):

It sounds 47 million times better (kicking myself for waiting this long)
Seat of the pants dyno from my short ride says it gained some
No popping on decel, no flat spots (going to have it dyno’d this weekend to see if a PCIII or a remap will yield anything)
Looks great; shorter (half inch or so without the spouts) & smaller appearing in diameter than the stockers – really helps complete the look of the rear

Looks great, I love how short the tail section is. Makes it look custom.

God I love those bikes! My neighbor traded his sweet rc51 for a black one and I just love it. The sound with the stock pipes is like nothing else. You have good taste my friend
