Speed Triple To become a true icon is no easy feat. But from its very first incarnation over a decade ago the Speed Triple assumed just that status, mixing a primal three-cylinder core with sporting ability and an aggressive, stripped-down stance.

Default Made Up my Mind, Here is My New Bike

I had it narrowed down to a XB12 or the Triple – rode one of each this last Saturday & made up my mind. The decision process took just one week shy of a year to make because I really loved my ZX6R & am very peculiar about what I ride (not to say I don’t like all bikes, but I’m a little strange about what I ride). Brought her home tonight.

I can’t say enough about this bike.

They call it "Scorched Yellow," and while it is yellow, it certainly has a gold quality to it. I've never owned a yellow bike before, but it's growing on me.

I would love to get a new Triple. I looked at one that was the same color but honestly I prefer black. Either way, sweet bike.

Triumph offers a factory exhaust option don't they? I haven't seen one without the stock exhuast so I'm assuming it's a pretty expensive option, do you anything about that?

The offroad cans look the same as stock & are $500. I haven't heard a set (they say they sound good), but there are a lot of aftermarket options for it (all of which are pretty pricey).

It sounds pretty good stock - I'll do something with the license plate / turn signals & mirrors before I even think about exhaust for it.

Great bike! But I would have gotten black!

Check out the Blue Flame exhaust for the bike. Really sweet looking.
