Speed Triple To become a true icon is no easy feat. But from its very first incarnation over a decade ago the Speed Triple assumed just that status, mixing a primal three-cylinder core with sporting ability and an aggressive, stripped-down stance.

I rode one briefly... very smooth motor, good ergonomics. I would buy one, but it would have to be black...

I have one. It rides way better than the 1997-01 and quite a bit better than the 02-04. It is very smoth and feel's way lighter

Nothing in particular but I love that short sub-frame. Looks pretty badass IMO.

Very nice! If I could pick up any bike right now, I would go straight to a triumph dealership and get a speed triple!

I just bought one as well. Great handling, smooth power, nice torque. Basically, I'm in love.

I'll agree there - the '05 S3 is one of my favorite bikes out now. I've got a '97 myself, and I love it, and couldn't imagine how hard that new 1050 pulls. It looks mean as hell, too... the Buells with their wacky wheel/frame/tank cover paint schemes look a bit clown-shoes next to the Triple. Actually, most everything looks a bit clown-shoes next to the S3!
