I have had an on going oil leak around the shift shaft oil seal. Anyone else out there experiencing the same problems?

it happens...
relatively easy fix IIRC

just to be sure (I know... stupid question) but... you have confirmed it's not a slight over-application of chain lube? one of my riding friends w/ a 675 swore she had a counter shaft leak.... turned out to be be excessive lube.

Their was a recall but the seal started to leak after the upgraded seal was installed
