Default Need help lowering my 2004 RSVR

I know all about the handling issues and what not. I don't care at this point. It is either lower the bike or get rid of it. There is no inbetween option here. I am not going to continually deal with a bike that is this high. I would rather deal with the ride issue. My R1 caused me fits and I lost balance a couple of times in various situations and ended up dropping the bike. I am not interested in going through it with this nice of a bike. Not gonna wear platforms, shave the seat or anything else just want the bike lowered, plain and simple.

Does ANYONE make a lowering link for this bike? Are there any other brands where the lowering link would be compatible?

A guy at the local dealership said to reverse the stock link but that takes it tooo far down; to the point of having to remove the rear hugger so it doesn't touch the undertail. Thanks for any assistance.

Give the guy at http://www.af1.com a call if you haven't already. They'll probably be able to help you out.

Got rid of it. Sweet bike but too hard to deal with. Being Italian and all, parts were just too inconvenient to wait on PLUS this only Aprilia dealer here in KC (Reno's Aprilia) is an idiot. The parts guys are cool. The parts issues are out of their control. The service guys can't even tie their own shoes. So without an alternative to service the bike, it wasn't worth keeping.

I opted for an 07' Suzuki GSX-R1000.
