THAT.... Is the piston that pushes on the clutch rod, which in turn separates the clutch discs allowing me to shift smoothly and find neutral - which comes in handy at times. That hole in the middle with the fucked up seal is where the clutch rod goes in and the piston pushes on the rod. The clutch fluid is filled behind the piston and when you pull the clutch lever, the pressure pushes the fluid against piston, slightly, and thus the rod.
And there is hydraulic clutch 101. And it sucks.
