Congrats on your first bike. When i got my first bike i ran to the closest local dealer and tried on everything they had and took down notes of what fit me and what i felt comfortable with.
I would recommend going to a local store and do that. Try on their helmets and jackets, gloves and buy the stuff online.
i am looking to spend around 500ish. i was looking on ebay, they have alot of cheap things, i think thats my best way to go! im jus not sure what color patter to wear

that said, I'd say you should buy either an HJC CL-SP or a Scorpion EXO400 for a helmet and the moto GP Corkscrew jacket. both are relatively cheap and definitely within your price range. maybe you can even budget in a pair of riding jeans
