Help Me pick a Helmet/jackt PLZ

Congrats on your first bike. When i got my first bike i ran to the closest local dealer and tried on everything they had and took down notes of what fit me and what i felt comfortable with.

I would recommend going to a local store and do that. Try on their helmets and jackets, gloves and buy the stuff online.

Otherwise, get what fits and what you can afford.

i am looking to spend around 500ish. i was looking on ebay, they have alot of cheap things, i think thats my best way to go! im jus not sure what color patter to wear

Wear whatever you think matches your bike. Or wear what style you like, it doesn't HAVE to match the bike.

$500 for a helmet and a jacket?

That might be cutting a little short for a quality leather jacket, but I'd suggest going to New Enough Motorcycle Apparel sells motorcycle jackets, pants and suits, boots, gloves, helmets, etc :: New Enough Motorcycle Apparel and checking out their closeouts.

But again, don't forget boots, gloves, and pants. At an absolute minimum, get gloves, helmet, and jacket.

I would suggest that you take a look at some HJC helmets and Joe Rocket Jackets ! You can get them at a great price at MOTOGIYA

that said, I'd say you should buy either an HJC CL-SP or a Scorpion EXO400 for a helmet and the moto GP Corkscrew jacket. both are relatively cheap and definitely within your price range. maybe you can even budget in a pair of riding jeans

Gixaars command a certain style, not just any jacket or helmet would do, you need premium, long lasting, hard wearing quality.

Gixars are absolute killers, you will suffer windburn like no other being strapped to that missile.
