Riders GearHelmets, gloves, jackets, etc. You need to protect yourself from everything and anything. So what should you buy? Check out what others have to say. Riders Gear Forum sponsored by Sportbike Track Gear
I picked up one of the MotoGP Corkscrew jackets last week off www.newenough.com, and today I got a set of Oxtar racing boots, MotoGP Apex pants and a Teknic Knox back protector from www.motorcyclecloseouts.com all for about $350 shipped.
I love new gear...with my new purchase I won't be a squid from the waist down anymore
The only tentacle I have left the wife is partial to so she lets me keep it. I told her before I got the bike that I'd need to buy some protection, and she offered to go to the drugstore and buy me a box of Lifestyles....

If it doesn't move but should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

Got the gear today. For those with the Corkscrew jacket for about $20 you can replace the neoprene 'mouse pad' back protector with a more substantial Knox CE approved one.
I was disappointed the Apex pants only had the short zipper, because it would have been nice to mate it to the full zipper on my Corkscrew jacket. The pants have both halves of the zipper so with a little effort I can put them together.
