I really like alipinestars leather jackets but there are so many jackets to choose from so I was wondering what jackets you all wear or suggest?

I have a Astars Dyno and Stunt jacket and really like both, I also have a Spidi jacket that is alright, and an Icon jacket that I wear if I'm just going to school and back.

I have the tz-1. Not quite enough ventilation when its hot and too much ventilation when its cold . I have a sweat shirt to wear under it so I dont give a damn. I love it.

I have the stunt jacket, the vented one. I dont like the armor in it. backpad is a peice of foam. and the shoulders and elbows are hard plastic straight through. no padding against your arms for comfort.

If you wear something like a windbreaker jacket underneath then there is no ventilation and gets ALOT warmer for winter times.

the TZ-1 is a very popular and nice one, and also the Stage is a step above that, I have one of each and love them both, the Stage is perforated/vented and the TZ-1 is not

I got mine from Kneedraggers.com a few years ago for $350-$360 back in 2000-2001.

cyclemartusa.com, i PM'd Terry about a the price for the Stage, it's $80 cheaper than MSRP and I believe free shipping on anything over $250. If you find a better price Terry will beat it. Free size exchange too if it doesn't fit.

same jacket i have. but i paid $270 for mine. brand new, shipped, tags still on it.
i love it.

my advice:

1. choose the brand/model you want
2. find a local cycle gear or other store
3. try on that brand/model jacket 'til you find the exact size you're lookin' for
4. hang it back up
5. go to www.ebay.com
6. search for that brand/model/size and save buttloads

this is what i did with my TZ-1
i went to cycle gear, found my exact size. fit perfectly, felt amazing.
went on ebay and found "Flyin' Brian's Deals" (ebay username is flyinbrian31)
he had the exact same jacket brand/model/size for almost $100 cheaper than what stores in my area wanted.

they all wanted $350+, tax not included.
i got it from Flyin' Brian's Deals for $270 shipped. as i said, he's an ebay retailer so it was brand new, no defects, tags still on it, alpinestars hanger included.
