Default Did I Ruin My Helmet?

I have a new Icon Mainframe helmet. I removed the cheek pads so my glasses fit better. After I had them removed, I noticed that one of the styrofoam pieces that they were attached to had broken in half. Does this mean my three week old helmet is trash???

Thanks,

Joe

If you're talking about the styrofoam backing on the cheek pad, you should be able to get replacement cheek pads. If its the styrofoam core of the helmet itself, call up Icon and get a new helmet. That definitely sounds like a manufacturer's defect.

I liked the look of the Mainframe when it came out. Then i discovered that the big vent thing on the top was basically non-functional. Someone even told me that there's no holes in the top of the helmet and it's all for show. Don't know about that, though.

Doesnt fit on my head, anyways....

But yeah- if your lining that attaches to the shell came out, that is total bullshit. Send that back. May even be able to take it back to the place you got it from, i dont know...
