Suggestions on a Jacket

Hello All,

I did a stupid thing on Monday. I placed my riding jacket on my bike to run into a store real quick when I came out I noticed it half hanging off my bike. The wind must of blew it off well it went right on top of the header and melted the zipper and some of the inside lining to it. Needless to say to patch the holes on the inside and replace a zipper at a sewing place it will cost close to $70. I dont know why I put it on my bike I was the first and last time I will ever do that.

Needless to say I need a new jacket. I had a feildsheer before that had Kevlar shoulder and elbow pads and a foam back pad. I like this jacket a lot how ever i got it a year ago and no longer make it. So I been looking around for a new on and kind of want to get something similar. I was wondering if you smart folks at SBN can help me out by telling me what jackets are good and ones to stay away from.

I'd recommend looking at the Joe Rocket Alter Ego, awesome jacket that you can truely use year round.
