Default Buying a helmet on the gray market?
I have to send back my x11 to ridegear.com because it doesnt' fit my head right and I want to get an Arai.

I cannot wait for a new helmet to come from ridegear because MSF class starts in a couple days. I live in Hawaii.

There's a guy on Oahu selling brand new helmets but he's not an authorized dealer....but he has many good responses and feedback from our local forum.

What do you think? He can sell me an RX7 for 475 or so he says. Not sure.

I believe the MSF course will provide helmets. So you may not have to hurry.

they do but they're pretty yucky I hear.

It'd be awesome to borrow a friend's but I don't know anybody who has one.

just buy the darn helmet. you will not regret it. if you are that unsure, make him cough up the helmet before you give him any cash.

I hear good things about him from other riders...I guess there are ways to buy Arais for cheap? I wonder how though.

I am not sure how he gets them but there are ways I guess to get them in bulk, he says he sells a lot of helmets so he can do it for cheap.
