Default Spring/Summer Riding Jackets

I need to get a riding jacket and was wondering what you guys have. Im looking to spend no more than $200 and I dont care if its leather or not. There are so many choices out there i cant narrow it down.

So, any suggestions, and what jacket do you have and how much was it?

btw, i really like this one:

I'm not sure if I'd want a jacket with a collar like the two you posted.

That said, I went with leather because I thought the extra protection / durability was worth the increased price. Any leather jacket by the big brands will provide excellent protection.. it all depends on what features you want, what styling you like, and what fits you. Just go to a local dealership or gear shop like Cycle Gear and try some jackets on.. that'll help you make up your mind

Nothing alpinestars makes sucks. They are one of the best brands out there in terms of safety and reliability.

Any performance numbers to back that up? Or just sponsorships and sales receipts?

If you really need one for warmer weather, I recommend Icon Ti Max, $169, or Fieldsheer Mach 4, $179, or Teknic chicane courdura $139
