I have the carbon... scratches VERY easily... girlfriend was riding behind me and just kind of tapped with her helmet... leaves this opaque white mark... I was a little upset needless to say. ALso, helmet is good for a wide/oval head and mine is pretty skinny so it moves around some. Very light which is good and feels high quality. Next time I would skip the carbon although i get a lot a lot of attention from it from bikers at the DUC store from where we do group rides.

Carbon is funny stuff, you've got to want it for its weight to strength ratio. I've said for a long time Suomy and vemar could be the Arai and Shoei of the the next decade if Arai and Shoei slow down at all.
