Zooni 2 piece leather suit (perforated), mainly light grey and red. If it's really cold, I put a windbreaker over it. If it's really hot (95+), I might wear JR Phoenix jacket (red) and pants (black).

Alpinestars boots (black).

Helimot gloves (black/tan).

Shoei X-11 (yellow). My wife calls this my Lego head. With the bike, it looks like mustard and catsup. I got the yellow for visibility and really like the helmet so far (GREAT ventillation).

Whatever gear you have, wear it every ride.

Not nearly enough gear at the moment but I'm working on getting more.

Helmet: HJC AC11
Jacket: Alpinestars Tstunt airflow
Pants: Jeans
Gloves: Alpinestars SMX

I'm planning on getting a Teknic leather suit pretty soon so I can do a few trackdays. I'd also like to get some Alpinestars boots.

I've always been told that steel toe boots aren't very good to ride in because of some things that can happen when you crash?

The half-cup shape of the steel plate in the toe can actually cut toes off if force is applied to the boots just right and the plate moves. You'd probably have other worries if it came to that though. /shrug

I wear: Nolan X-Lite 901 helmet
HJC leather or Fieldsheer Mach 1 textile jackets
Off-brand leather or Tourmaster overpants
Alpinestars GPS (winter) or Alpinestars SMX-3 (summer) boots
Teknic Chicane or Olympia vented gloves

It ALL totals less than a weeks worth of work and just may keep me employed should something happen and I go down. /thumbup

I really need to break down and get some kind of riding pants. Maybe not leather but at least that abrasive resistant stuff.
