A couple friend's of mine wear Dainese lower back supporters. They say it works wonders for longer rides. I'd imagine it would do the same for someone who already has back problems.

My velocity Gear back protector really helps me out on long rides keeping my back straight and helping support everything. A little weird feeling at first but I'm getting used to it.

You know, I have a lower back supporter for enduro riding that I never use, and I've never even thought to wear it under my leathers... Maybe I ought to try it.

I've seen plenty of Harley riders wear kidney belts on long rides.

I've never had to wear anything like that before for any job... what exactly do they do?

Riding isn't only about the scratching on a Sunday morning. Sometimes it's about the 400 mile ride on Saturday to get to where you'll be scratching on Sunday morning with a 400 mile ride home that evening.

Weight training is the best solution for an aching back, but a proper back protector with a waist-belt will provide addtional support as well.
