Default Sidi Vertigo vs Vertebra vs Vertebra 2

What are the main differences between these boots? I know the Vertigo are newer, and you can get the Vertebra in waterproof and vented, but there is a dramatic price difference between them, and they appear to be very similar.

from new enough.com

Vertigo Corsa - $375
Vertigo - $260
Vertebra Race - $330
Vertebra 2 - $240-280

Are the Vertebra Race that much better than the Vert 2 and the standard Vertigo? Which is better between the Vertigo and the Vert 2?

I would get the new vertigo. They look better, not sure if they actually perform better or not. I have the vertebra 2, would have gotten the race version, but could not see spending another $100 just for looks. They vertabra 2 suit me just fine cause I do a lot of street riding / occasional track day and still look good.

I think they all look fine, I just want the pair that works the best. Or, if they are all more or less the same, I'd get the pair that cost the least.

Unfortunately........I knew all these answers earlier this year, but after I bought my Sidi's, (verbrata II air) I forgot most of what your looking for.

But I do remember this, the Verbrata and Ver. II are a hinging system that is patented by Sidi. It's their system of protecting your ankles along with allowing ankle movement. Verb. air...is obvious...it's vented. Verb. race........is different, and more expensive, because of all of the removable hinging parts that are replaceable. The thought is that when your racing and you crash, your able to replace parts easily and bring your boot back to a completely safe product again.

Wish I remembered more, but at least I have some info, rather than just an opinion of how I would spend my money.

They are a great boot

does anyone know if there are notable differences between the Vert Race and Vert 2 beyond replaceable parts?
