Default Getting used to the sound of my bike

I am finally getting used to the sweet sound of my 51. The sound that I coudn't really stand before turned out to be the factory exhaust. Since I put my Yoshi's on I sometimes turn off my Ipod and just listen to the throaty sound of my bike. Well, tonight my wife and I went for a ride... we didn't have helmets on (I know, I know not smart but please don't make this thread about gear and the dangers of not wearing it) well I got a really good chance to listen to my bike and I noticed while at lower RPM's a, for lack of a better description, "ticking" noise. I can hear it over the sweet sound of my gear driven cams and the sound of the exhaust. I mentioned it to my wife and she heard it as well... any ideas, should I be worried? I felt a little sick to my stomache the rest of the way home...... almost the same feeling I get when one of my kids don't feel well.... please tell me my baby will be alright.

I wouldn't worry about it. I hear something similar from mine but as long as it's running good, I don't care. I always wear ear plugs when I ride and the very few times I ride without them, I hear these differences but I like I said, no worries.
