Not much experience w/ tires on the RC. I did have BT010's, 020's, pilot sports, and diablos on an F4i. Just came off a set of M1's on the RC. Out of all of them, the diablos did feel the best, they gave me the most confidence.
However, just the other day I mounted a set of (GASP) race takeoffs. Was a little short on money so I went w/ them, and I wear the middle out long before the sides, unfortunately. They are Metzeler Racetec K2's, 190/55 rear.
Only have a little over 100mi on them so far, so I can't make a complete report yet. Rode on labor day, it was about 85-88 deg. and sunny out, and the tires got a fair amt. of warm up time. WOW WOW WOW. It was a 180 degree change from the M1's. They felt like rocks compared to these racetecs. Also, you can only imagine how much different the bike felt going from a flat ass worn out 190/50 to a brand new in the middle 190/55. They really suprised me, very stable while leaned over.
I had a Diablo on my previous bike and really digged it! I bought my Five-One with Pilot Powers on them and so far, they haven't slipped ever since I tweaked the suspension a bit.
I'm going to try the Diablos next and decide from there. But as far as confidence wise, I like the Diablos a bit more.
Hi from Barcelona.
I use rennsport in front wheel and Z6 for the rear, both from metzeler. The rear have 9000kms(i don't know in miles, sorry) and maybe can make it 1000 more. I have a pair of rennsport for the track days.

i love them, i had a set of junky dunlops on my bike, and a buddy of mine got the m-1's, fell in love and went to the honda shop to get some,,, but were out, so i opted for the new michelin's (pilot powers) and they're by far better than the m-1's. i love em.
Wow... you guys are making this very difficult. I will be in the market for new tires over the winter season and have been monitoring the tires posts closely.... Don't mean to thread jack at all but when you replaced your rear tire did you stay with the 190's or did you opt for the 200?

180 for better handling less contact patch, 190 more contact more difficult handling.dy DIFFICULT in handling i dont mean hard you just have to put a little more weight into it.
