im assuming you guys are running 180 for the rear tire?if so , besides the rubbing, whats the gain or loss in switching from a 190?

They have 190s stock. 190 = bigger contact patch 180=quicker handling

I just put 180s on last month and it felt like the bike was about half the size when cruising around the track.

I have the 15/42 with the 190 tire on my '03. My tire never rubbed with that combo. Later I switched to a 520 chain with a few more links.
