Default Sound of Satos on W33 in Va..

Here is a small crappy vid of me on W33. I am the second rider. The Satos on the RC51 are mean..

You might need a codec and/or divvx or something to see and hear it..
But, hearing the Satos are worth it!!

Sounds good. To bad they are almost drowned out by a four banger...

How much and where did you get them? I just got mine a week ago and I'm drooling over my buddies Banzi's...

I'm sold. Been debating aftermarket exhausts for the RC. The Satos give the best power increases but they are awfully expensive. The sound AND the power make them a sweet deal, IMO.

judging by the struggle to keep up with the RC in the straights, I would have to say it was a 6.

I got those from the Godfather of the RC51, Dan Kyle..

They go for a cool $1320..

However, they are warranted for LIFE. I have 37,000 on my 03 RC51. The Banzia went on at about 3k, at 25k, one of the welds came loose on one of the cans. I called Dan Kyle, he said to send him a pic. After sending him a pic, a day later I get this email from Japan, apologizing for any inconvience, and that TWO brand new updated cans are on their way straight from Japan. And I was told that when I get the time, send the old ones back!!

Those cans were over a year old, and over 22k on them. This is the kind of service you get when you deal with Dan Kyle. Now, I know there are some places that have aquired these pipes and sell them at a discount. Well, I am the cheapest SOB on the planet, and I have regretted one second for spending the dough for these pipes.

They sound like a Messeraita with an attitude.

I been around. Found a new friend, and she rides. In fact, she was faster than me at Summit Point on the 12th!!!!

Man, this dam track stuff is expensive. Just purchased a trailer, and a beat up van to pull the trailer..

You know I had two quick crashes right in a row. One at VIR, and the other in Woodbridge, VA.. On each bike too.. . I got a small scratch on my knee, not bad for two crashes. Credit that to full gear.

They need to increase my SS check!!

Oh, and the cops on 211 know me by sight. They call me by my first name. They write me a ticket at every chance. Got to change my tag placement, or go in the poor house..

Be safe,

See ya soon..

Hey Ceh. Your 51 is an inspiration. One reason why i got mine just recently. I wonder just how long these engines will last, with care of course.

Right now my 03 RC51 is over 37,000 miles. The oil/filter gets change at 3 to 3.5k miles. Been dam cheap on the spark plugs they only be changed 3 times. Still pushing the same air cleaner, just blowing it out.

The manual states that the valves should be checked at 16k, and every 16k after that. Well, my 03 runs like a swiss clock, and I was planning to get the valves check at 30k, changed it to 35k, and now I am thinking about 45k.. The valves have never been checked on this bike. The bike is running flawlessly. New battery, and one of the bulbs blew out.

I can't give enough praise to this bike. Even now, at almost 5 am in the morning, I can't wait to get on the RC and ride to the gym. The ride is that good.

BTW, you got to be real sharp to pick the RC51.
