Ok im designing the Flash intro, I know i said i wouldnt do all that flash but hey You ladies deserve it ! I ust dont know what to use ? Either a Bike related Style or Just a bad ass animated Flash intro. Colorful musicyor Bikes and motorcycle sounds ? IUnno give me some input !
Robert, I specifically requested an update from you as to the status of the website. I have donated money for the cause therefore I have a FINANCIALLY VESTED INTEREST IN THE STATUS. Everything I have heard thus far seems to be a crock of BS. We don't need flash, we don't need all these bells and whistles. We need a web site that people can access and at least see we are not a bunch of idiots blowing hot air. From what I understand Alison still has the domain and needs to release it.....how can we do anything if we don't have control of the domain?
When I, as a financial investor, request an update and am blatantly ignored, I can tell you that I, personally, am ready to take this somewhere else. Is this a flame? I suppose you could see it that way, but reality is this has been going on since august-shit or get off the pot man.
As a whole, this pussy posse thing is a joke. We have made promises and not one have we kept. Look at the numbers people......they aren't what they were.
As an added bonus, Erica (sp?), Cycle Sister, is putting us in her magazine with a web address. GUESS WHAT! THERE IS NO FREAKING PAGE FOR PEOPLE TO VIEW! So again, we get exposure and are going to get "caught with our pants around our ankles". (Thanks Michelle!!! )
If money is the issue, since no one seems to be donating, we have been offered a free page for one year. Irrelevant of it being perfect-AT LEAST IT IS SOMETHING THAT PEOPLE CAN SEE.......Why are we screwing around with something that doesn't seem to move forward?

EXCUSE ME ? YOu arnt paying me anything ! The Money you invested is for a Web server Which doesnt even belong to me ! I cant do anything until SOMEONE pays for space ! I can build sites all day long but with no where to upload its useless. I cant show you what the site looks like without somewhere to put it to show you. You HAVE NOT paid for my services at the rate you guys are paying you couldnt afford 1 page of my design work nor my labor a basic page layout i charge 500$ you have a Grand total of 50$ in your account. As for the bells and Whistles The ladies requested a Flash intro So I said i would make one, COURT is designing the site because she expressed an interest in doing so, i just said i would assist her in the Work. But once Again Im gonna say MY WORK IS FREE to the posse Another Post like this and you can take it somewhere else. As far as a request for an update I havent recieved any such request, but here is the status of everything YOU NEED MORE MONEY, AND that is the members issue not mine. If you Want a lagit and Good site Do like ive said Buy the Server WHICH I SHOWED YOU and Once you have that paid for a Site can be designed and uploaded until then its all up to your imagination !
as far as alisons domain or whatnot, There is no DNS attached to the org its ust a name floating around, until someone attahces it to a server so it will do you no good until soeone buys server space.

The domain name is registered to ShortyAli /Alison in Wisconsin. Nothing can be done with this domain until she either transfers it, or points the domain to a server of our choice. It makes no difference if a server has been paid for at this point. It's irrelevant
I've pretty much kept my mouth shut for the past week or two, but can do so NO MORE!

Most of us are pretty tired of the arrogance and high school "Look how great I am, and you can't afford me" mentality we've been seeing. You piped up on my thread with a smart comment when no question was directed at you in the first place. Why are you here? You said yourself in an earlier post

Most of us have some personal stake in this. We ride as part of a group, our wives or girlfriends ride as part of a group. What is your stake if you don't ride and are not attached to anyone that rides?

I am sending $20 in the mail because I don't use paypal and am not familiar with it. That will bring us up to $70. I am a BRAND SPANKING NEW PP member and I would like to see my basically blind investment go for a good purpose. Fighting amongst ourselves is not a good purpose. I will send the $$ in good faith, but it really should get worked out 1. who is designing the site? whether it's one or two or three people, that needs to be decided ASAP so the one person can know they're at the wheel or the people can all get their sh*t together and get on the same page (no pun intended) and 2. where will the site be displayed? i'm not an expert when it comes to domains/servers/etc. but I do want to know where to look when I'm putting my money towards something. I think once these two issues are handled, we'll be well on our way. All the artistic aspects can be decided once these two items are completed.
I agree that fighting will get us no where, but then again sitting back hasn't gotten us anywhere either. Like I said before that if the money was an issue, lets eliminate the issue and use the free service in the interim. I am not at all saying that what Robert has done is to be wasted, but until we can "afford" his service, let's use what we have available to us.
A lot of people have offered assistance-it may not be "top notch", but then again we can't afford "top notch" on $50. As this grows we can improve. I just don't want people going to pussyposse.org and seeing "under construction.
Please understand I am only trying to push this thing forward.

alright, here's the deal-ie-o! I can just see where this thread is going, and I will shut it down before it goes that far. PERIOD!
I can see both sides.... For one, there are ppl here that want this PP site to happen NOW. Things like this take time. People commmited to starting something that is and will be a good thing. But there are ways to be TACTFULL about it. You are not always going to get an answer NOW, patiance is key to running a business, if that's what this is or will become.............
Secondly, there are also people on here that are giving up their time and knowledge for FREE! DO NOT look a gift horse in the mouth. There are ways to tell ppl in an adult manner if you like or disslike something. Every bit of time from anyone IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.... There is no need to throw figures into this, meaning "I make and charge blah blah blah"! by sticking it in ppls faces will only make things worse and piss ppl off.
I'm telling everyone now, that if they have a problem with something DO IT IN A PM! not in here....

As I told Tammy earlier in a PM if you ladies want your moneys back I have no problem refunding them. I have some site layouts I made and I will post up soon, these are not with the photo collage background for the main page since it is not finsihed. But the layouts are just an idea. They are simple layouts for the mainpage b/c I believe in the "keep it simple stupid" idea for the main page. No flash, no crazy sounds or music. I'll post it up in a sec and you guys can let me know what you think ... Oh and Tammy I still love you even with the bitch hat on .
