for those that read Blndbmbr thread and agree with it, what is it that you are WILLING to do? Meaning COMMIT! I can do and am willing to do as much as I can. I'm starting all over with a new life, so since I've lost every thing, what is there to lose now, right?

I have a very good friend that is willing to teach me to ride track, and what I want to do is promote women riding their OWN bikes, but also track. The thought of track scares the hell outta me, but damn it, even if I fail, at least I can say I tried!!

I'm willing to promote the PP at track days, PR work, promote this while on Sunday rides, at any bike bar or resturaunt or what have you. I can sell like a bitch when I need to. I also have a very close friend that I know will help out. Once I get all the details on what they are willing to do, I'll let you all know.

Also, if we decide to want to run banners or have Fred promote us as well, we need to talk to Fred and see what deals we can get on paid space. This (the forum) is Fred's baby, and I will no in any way, take advantage of it or risk it.

I will be doing track days this year as well, not to mention SB weekend at Road America (RA), Mini-moto races in Brodhead, Elkhart Lake (RA) and Shawno WI as well as Iowa. I want to get exposure! Not to mention the fact we have an outstanding relationship with one of the Yamaha dealers here-I am sure they will help us out as well. I'd also be willing to tap into the sponsors of our mini-moto club-I am sure they would be willing to help us out there.
Other ideas pop up in my head too....other than the calendar-which has overhead-I'd like to come up with fund raisers. Stupid things, for example, a bike wash. I know nothing will draw the attention more than a bunch of hot women riders wet and sudsy.....for a price! Word of mouth on that will spread like wild fire-all proceeds to fund the efforts of the PP. Milwaukee, WI would be PERFECT for this.....Not only is it a fundraiser, but it's promotional as well.
Pictures are great too, but I want banners as well. I am going to see what I can dig up for pricing on banners that I can hang at the track....my own "sponsor"!

I also know of a female racer here in WI I'd like to talk to but I think she is out this season-motorcycle mechanic school (WHICH ROCKS!). Anyway, there are ways to do this and we can. It only takes a determined few.
F3Girl and Pillion Slut have already PM'd me with what they would like to do. I am happy to see that there are a few of us ready to rock on this.
Before we dive to heavily into this, Maccie and I are working on making sure our asses are covered....details to follow soon.

Those are some GREAT ideas. I think sposoring our riders would be great, I love that we have all types of girls here, drag racers, street, track, and stunt riders. I'll talk to Bubblesixx about the banners since her and the hubby print for a business and see what we can do. We are throwing around ideas of new stickers and such, even shirts with embroidered designs

. Hopefully we can get the tees off Cafepress asap so we can have more of a color variety. Hopefully Fred might wing a "I scratch your back you scratch mine", we are going to have a SBN banner on our site and we're keeping our message board on here so maybe he'll be really really really nice and scratch our backs too, as if he hasn't enough already

Just thought I would mention that you girls will LOVE!!! track days. They are slightly intimidating at first, but once you've gone around a few times you will never want to leave.

Oh yeah, and all the business stuff...I'm in...just let me know what you need. I really like marketing and things of that nature.

Oh yeah, I also have a banner/sign company that we have used before for my current job. If you want me to check on prices I can do that. They will pretty much print anything. We just have to let them know the size, material, and content. If we make them a logo to put on it they can do that as well.

OK It looks like we can get a customized banner any size we would like. It is vinyl (basically weatherproof) with a 14oz weight. It is also hemmed and grommeted so we can hang them. If we decide to get our graphics on a white background, the prices will be 2X6-$42, 3X8-$84, 4X8-$112. If we decide to get a color background the prices will be 2X6-$51, 3X8-$102, 4X8-$136. Let me know what you think, or if you need more details.

I am willing to help in anyway possible, but for right now, I am stuck here on the west coast. Let me know what you guys need. Have a few friends who do networking, and web design, some guys who do graphics, and a few more that actually do PR in casios. Let me know if you guys want to do anything out here, and we might actually be able to get something set up. There are alot of females that ride out here, and have told them about the site (don't think that any of them have visited the site). If you guys are out this way to do a track day, let me know, I will get some guys, and gals out there to see what it is all about. Also have a few guys that run trackdays (will be able to get discounts and stuff on trackdays if you come out this way).

I don't mean to rain on anybody's parade here, but it's just a thought here so take it for what it's worth. If you gals want to get 'serious' about making this a full fledged club, you might want to reconsider your mascot before some really big company with a lot more money and a really good lawyer were to want to protect their intellectual property. There is a chance that you may find yourselves in a situation that becomes big trouble, even if you are able to secure a Non-Profit Organization designation from the Goverment. It's a serious situation you might want to think about.

ORRRRR.... you could always get ahold of the parent company... tell them that you are trying to promote female riding in a non profit organization. and explain to them that you would like to use their icon as not only a designation for you organization BUT using a figure that is well known will also promote awareness, not to mention the free advertizing they can from people seeing it on bikes throughout the nation

and get their permission
