Hello all,
but especially Bubblesixx (she will see this later as she is on here daily like (religiously) Michelle, I am so proud of you!
Just wanted to let you all know how proud I am of my girl watching her "mature" as a rider. About 6 or 7 months ago she first rode the "seat warmer" position on my bike and it only took about 2 times and she said 'to hell with this, I want my own bike! We found her a wrecked pretty blue '02 R6 for a great price and I put it back like new over about a 2 month period. Meanwhile I wanted her to go take the MSF Motorcycle safety course to make sure she wanted to ride. That only made it worse. Boy did she have the itch! Finally, we got the bike all back together and she was able to start riding. She was a little slow, and made me more nervous than she actually was. I was afraid she'd stall out or something when pulling out in traffic, etc. Just concerned for her safety, as any husband would be. The weather has been a big issue lately, but we finally got to put in some real time this entire weekend. We rode friday night about 3 hours out to dinner (froze to death coming home... good experience) Saturday about a 5 hour round trip to a nearby city... ( warmer, but still no picnic.. more good experience) and today we rode with our regular crew of about 12 or 13 bikes in a group. We rode to Panama City Beach. Beautiful day, sunny, about 70 hi temp. With our high speed spurts, I overheard her telling one of the guys "you guys aren't leaving my a$# today!!" And we didn't. She hung in there. At times, I just backed off to watch her ride. It's great!
Guys... Encourage your girls to ride if they really want to. Help them get a bike. Hats off to all the Pussy Posse Girls. There's nothing more awesome than a beautiful woman that can handle a nice bike. Hope to see some of you in Daytona. God willing, Bubble and I should make it down for the last Weekend 11th-13th

Thank god for my 929!
How lucky Bubble is to have a SO like yourself. Supporting her needs and wants, and also her dreams, which she has proven to herself she can do. Hats off to her passing the MSF also. First the street, next the track!!
CONGRATS BUBBLES!! YOU GO GIRL!!!
Side note** Find me a man like yourself. I need someone to stand behind me and support my dreams and needs........
**ok, now I'm depressed** ;)

Bubble just read this and got all 'misty' ........ it was the desired response.
As for the guy thing. I've got a brother...... we are just alike.......mistaken for twins but 4 years apart... I'm the older one,
and just so happens he's now available.... He rides an R1 /mostly on the rear tire. <wheelie freak> HeeHee
But seriously, Look closer at the guy you probably wouldn't think twice about. He may not be Mr. GQ, but may have alot more to offer than Mr. GQ too. Chances are, he's already right in front of you.
Take Care...
Jeff

It is awesome to find men supporting their women-and passing it on to others!!!
It's all my guy's fault I am riding too....I wonder if he doesn't regret it from time to time!!!! The greatest feeling in the world is to live through a true "OH SHIT" moment and find that the "hubby's" knees are as weak as yours BUT he doesn't hold you back, just nudges you a little more forward-with a firm "don't do that again". That's love baby!!!
Great job Bubbles!!! It's great to hear how well you are doing!!!! Soon that track WILL be calling your name....I know it's SCREAMING mine!

I got all misty reading the thread and it wasn't even directed toward me ! Its great to see men supporting their chickies. If only all men were like Jeff... :sigh...:
Congrats on taming that beast of an R6 Michelle !!!
Awwww this is soo sweet! Bigboy...how awesome of you to support your lady in this sport!! Bubbles--you have done good girl in all kinds of ways (wink wink) He's a keeper!!
You are right too BigBoy...it's not about all the looks thing but what is inside one's heart! I am luck too to have a b/f who loves that I ride (I rode before him though) and wants to hit the track with me once we both have some extra pocket change!!
not to hijack but.. I could careless about the looks, I just want someone to support my dreams and will stand behind me no matter what. To bad that has never been the case. I don't count on it happening anytime soon...
Again, Bubbles, you're so damn lucky! He's a MEGA keeper!
