cancer and more than 40,000 women will die. While there is no
simple way to prevent breast cancer, helping women access early
detection through low-cost screening is essential.

Now that Congress is back in session after a recess, we are
asking for immediate action to reauthorize the National Breast
and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (NBCCEDP), a
life-saving program critical to early detection of breast
cancer.
