I'd have much preferred Kathleen.....I have stupid gay "tammy".....a freakin' country-western singer's name.....That's why I named my daughter Sierra....different and pretty (in my opinion, of course)....then again I always say that when she grows up I hope she is beautiful like the mountains and not built like the truck!!!

As I grew older I liked it because I have always been a different type of person in my eyes and so the name just fit at that point. It was always great in school when the teacher got to my name in roll call...they would just get silent and I would just yell, "here" then they would ask how to pronouce it LOL the look of relief on their face was classic. Although sometime I would let them suffer and squirm and then I would let them off the hook!! tee hee

Your daughter's name is very pretty..I didn't get the truck impression at all..I got your mountain description and the west at sunset If I have a daughter someday..she will be getting a different and unique name too!

me 2 rsixxy i think you get the best name vote its different and thats why i like it.. tammy omg thats what im EVENTUALly gonna name my kid if i have one, a girl, and when lol.. probly spelled different but same name sweeeeet! and brandy i got the initials SAK come on didnt you guys know thats my company?? musta left the part out oops! and just to think.. my exfiances initials were SAC we both wouldve had the same initials kinda creepy but i still laugh to this day about it.. 2 SACS
