Hatch: Health care reform would be the end of the Republicans
The Hatch Truth: GOP Blocking Health Care to Prevent Permanent Democratic Majority | Crooks and Liars
Quote:
HATCH: That's their goal. Move people into government that way. Do it in increments. They've actually said it. They've said it out loud.
Q: This is a step-by-step approach --
HATCH: A step-by-step approach to socialized medicine. And if they get there, of course, you're going to have a very rough time having a two-party system in this country, because almost everybody's going to say, "All we ever were, all we ever are, all we ever hope to be depends on the Democratic Party."
Q: They'll have reduced the American people to dependency on the federal government.
HATCH: Yeah, you got that right. That's their goal. That's what keeps Democrats in power.

To be completely truthful, they ARE pissing down their legs. OMFG! OH Noes!
It turns out that the gummint might not be the worthless clusterfuck the republikans have made of it since the 1980s.
I vote for twisting the knife.

So everything bad that has happened in government since the 80s is the fault of the Repulicans?
Please tell me you're just being sarcastic?

Everything? Probably not. Remember: all blanket statements are false.
Fault? No.
Part of the plan? Absolutely.
Should you want to learn something, I can provide you a reading list.

Didn't you know? Republicans don't read. Well, other than comic books, The Bible, and ghost-written autobiographies by people like Rush Limbaugh and Sarah Palin...

You should know by now that the democrats are all about blaming the republicans for everything. Look at Obama, he just won't stop blaming Bush for everything even though he's been almost a year in power.

Well, Obama had a point, and it wasn't even on the top of his head.
