The P&R forum has not been moderated before now. But since we have been spending more and more time reading and responding to reported posts from this area, we have come to the conclusion that you must prefer a modded forum.
The new rules are pretty much the same as the rest of the forum, with the understanding that discussions in here are naturally going to be more heated than the average and we are ok with that, with certain exceptions and limitations.
Please especially take note of the these particular
forum rules:
Quote:
- We have no intention of preventing anyone from saying anything, however, please be advised that flames will not be tolerated. Please use smilies to accurately convey your tone. That'll help us determine whether you're serious or just joking.
- We won't be closing threads or deleting posts because we disagree with you. If a thread degenerates into hateful flaming, it'll get closed. If a thread contains a heated argument between several members, each of whom disagree, but each of whom are debating the issue at hand, it'll stay open. Discussion is healthy. That's what this forum is all about. Controversial topics make for the best threads, IMO.
- We all feel that censorship or overmoderation of a site makes the site very onesided, so understand, deleting or closing threads is not our goal. Unpopular opinons, as long as they are not flames, racial or sterotypical will be protected. Everyone has an opinion, and we the readers of SBN will gain more from hearing all sides than we would if only the popular opinions were published, so lets ride guys and girls and save the drama for your momma.

The Forum Rules will be enforced the same as the rest of the forum, with infractions or warnings for 1st offenses, escalating up to temporary bans and even permanent bans for repeat or extreme offenders.
There is zero tolerance for the following:
Racist comments
Threats
Wishing death or injury on a fellow motorcyclist
Anyone posting any of the above will be permanently banned with no further warning or notice.
A note about civility. This word has been thrown around a lot lately, but we feel that a little bit of it would go a long way towards making this forum a better place. If you wouldn't say something when face to face with someone, then don't say it here.
A Note From The Admin:
The Admins and Mods of this site will be closely monitoring the activity in this area over the next few months. If we conclude that the rules are not being respected and the old behaviour is returning, we will have no choice but to PERMANENTLY REMOVE this area of the community and BAN ALL USERS who make future posts regarding politics and religion.
Thank you
