I answered your questions about the table and the person. In complete sentences. Couldn't you read them?
Would it be easier for you if I asked my question seriatim now too?
So we can go down the list?
Try answering any of the harder questions you skipped over now. You can do it!

actually, no you didn't answer them. You went off on your dimestore Freud tangent and actually managed to miss answering yes or no questions. Thanks for the free analysis, Dr. Phail.
They are yes or no questions. No grey area.
Also OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH LATIN!!!!! You are attempting to polish a turd using a dead language, counselor.

Ok, seriatim it is. I hardly expect you to do the same.
1. has a person ever shot another person? Yes.
2. has a table ever shot a person? No, tables have legs. Not fingers.
3. has a person ever had a mental disorder? Yes
4. has a table ever had a mental disorder(?) No. Just separation anxiety when the leaves split.
5. do people have brains? Yes. Some more than others. As I'm sure you would agree.
6. do tables have brains? No, just legs.
7. do tables have the ability to fire a gun? No. See #6, and #2.
8. do people possessing a firearm have the ability to fire a gun? Yes, they have the ability.
9. do you realize how stupid you are by comparing an inanimate object to a human being? No. The gun is the inanimate object here. Untouched by human beings in both cases.
Your turn -
1. Has a person ever shot another person with a holstered weapon without touching the gun or the trigger?
2. Are you afraid of law abiding people carrying guns?
3. Are you afraid of criminals carrying guns?
4. Do you see any distinction between those two?
5. Do you really support Open Carry?
6. Do you support CCW?
7. Can you accurately predict when and where danger is going to occur before you leave your house?
8. Do you only wear your helmet while riding when you sense this danger?
9. Is the act of offending some people a rights forfeiting offense?
10. Are you this intolerant of all participants of legal activities you disagree with?
What town hall meeting was this? There were no weapons brought to town hall meetings in this thread. No one tried to enter the meeting with a gun.
Another one gets it wrong.
Even if he didn't actually go inside, he was highly visible to people who did go in or out of the event, thus acting as an intimidating presence on the side he supports. You really love to be obtuse, don't you? (like I need to ask...)

Let's just focus on number 9 here. If you are trying to make the statement that the gun is the base and the variable is the table or human. You do realize that you are then comparing an inanimate object to a human. Again, logical fail.

6. Do you support CCW?Not a big fan, but if it's constitutional, then yes
7. Can you accurately predict when and where danger is going to occur before you leave your house?I can make a distinction of where I have less risk. I don't wear a condom 24/7 out of fear of catching a disease.
8. Do you only wear your helmet while riding when you sense this danger? Invalid comparison. Not the same activity. My helmet doesn't discharge. Bad logic.
9. Is the act of offending some people a rights forfeiting offense?I have touched on this several times. Read the posts.
10. Are you this intolerant of all participants of legal activities you disagree with? Calling someone stupid is not intolerance. It's intolerant only to those who don't have self esteem.
None of those above do anything to support your dumb claims, BTW.
Jim, Lewd, Fly, and whoever else claiming they support 'open carry' but that anyone who CCW's is a 'pussy'.
I don't think it has anything at all to do with your claim that 'open carry' would make it easier to 'identify nutcases'. I think it's a deep-seated psychological resentment towards those whe carry regardless of the manner in which they do so.
You guys know as well as I do that if you saw somebody carrying a pistol strapped to their side, you'd call that guy an intimidating, insecure pussy for 'swaggering around with a gun'. I was honest with you about feeling 'comfortable with my CCW, so just afford me the same respect and don't try to deny that, ok? It's obvious. And hypocritical on ya'll's part, IMO.
I think you guys have an emotional stigma towards people who carry a gun, whether it's open carry or 'hiding it under their shirt'. I think it's due to the fact that you somehow perceive them to be 'bullies', and you have a problem with bullies. I won't go into your childhoods, but I'd bet that this irrational fear of yours stems from something or other in your pasts.
And in your inner quest to justify your fear/resentment, you rationalize that you are somehow more courageous or secure than people who choose to carry, thus giving yourselves a position of superiority to postulate from. You perceive yourselves to be standing on some higher moral ground from which you can judge those who carry guns as inferior... pussies, bullies, insecure pretenders, fantasy role-players, whatever.
Reading all the crap in this thread, it is woefully clear... ya'll have a problem with folks who choose to carry guns. The sad thing is, you have a tendency to lump all CCW holders into one big stereotype, which I consider to be an unfair generalization and frankly, rather ignorant.
It's your personal issue, your emotional stigma, and I can try to reason with you forever, but it's not likely to change. So I won't even try. I'll just accept that about ya'll... because it's really not a big enough deal to me to affect our friendship. I'm going to continue to carry regardless of what ya'll think about that, and I just hope that you won't hold it against me. If you do, well, that's your problem. Just do me a favor and don't nag me about it, alright?
My biggest dissapointment in this thread is the manner in which some people participating here who support CCW are making their arguments... not exactly very sensible or rational in some cases, and I can't say that they speak for me... nor do they adequately explain MY position on my choice to CCW very well at all. I have my own reasons, which I explained, in part, earlier... and I stand by them. Don't confuse the stupid arguments found here as representative of MY position, ok?
'Nuff said.

I can't believe I'm about to do this, but--I agree.
