Hey, she's a great lady, and she's entitled to her say, right or wrong. But I do recall how much she was demonized in the past by some of the very same rightwankers who are praising her here now. What a crowd...

If Obama gave us anything worth apologizing for, then maybe you'd have something to whine about. You know, things like

Falsely implying a connection between Saddam Hussien and Al Qaeda in order to justify an invasion of Iraq

Falsely declaring the existence of WMD's in order to justify an invasion of Iraq

Invading a country who didn't attack us based on lies (see above)

Creating a secret energy policy with Cheney and the Big Oil CEO's behind closed doors in the first months of the admininstration

Katrina

Warrantless wiretapping

No-bid war contracts (Halliburton, anyone?)

It's inhumane. It is not a practice befitting the United States. We are supposed to be better than our enemies. By torturing prisoners, we lower ourselves to their level. Not to mention the fact that after WWII, we executed Japanese soldiers for doing the exact things we're doing now, to U.S. POWs. If we put Japanese soldiers to death for torturing U.S. prisoners, and now we are ourselves torturing prisoners, how does that make us look?

The first part about that you say is Soldiers. Terrorist are not soldiers they are not P.O.W's either since pow= prisoner of war. They are people that strap bombs to themselves and go blow up anyone and everyone.

I think you misunderstood what I was saying about the Japanese. We didn't torture the Japanese. The Japanese tortured American POWs. When we found out about this, those Japanese soldiers were put to death.


So:

Torture someone = get put to death.

Well first of all mister smart guy none of us are really Americans. We all came here from other places like Europe, Asia, And South America. The only people that can claim to be REAL AMERICANS are the Indians that everyone bitches about with them not paying taxes.

The older generations they made a very good attempt at trying to be real Americans when they were proud to say they lived in America and did anything to protect America.

This Generation that we live with is different we have parades for Puerto Rican Day Irish Day Italian Day and anyone that thinks they are from somewhere else. Not only that but they all hang the flag from other country's at homes cars or anywhere they want to. This Generation also has little care to protect the way of our so called American life.

The ACLU and any other rights group want us to put everything in different language because these so called Americans can't read or write English which our founding fathers wrote the so called Declaration of Independence in English. But if you are an "American" shouldn't you be able to read and write the Language that was picked by the people that found that America.

Some of you people are really dense when it comes to the way it is.

And for the Torture I remember someone saying that when in Rome do as the Romans. So why not when being Tortured why not Torture right back.
