You tell me why we went to Iraq this time? You just said he was not a threat to us so why did we invade?
Was it over WMD's? Don't you think with our millions and millions of satellites in the sky they would have seen something? I mean they can tell what kind of food everyone eats each day but we can't find out if Saddam had WMD's.

Take Vietnam or Korea, IRAQ, Afganistan, all are cases and perfect examples of what happens when the politics take over and try to control the Military.
