Hmmm. That sounds like it needs a poll. What message did hundreds of thousands send to Congress today?

And yet, conservatives were not angry at all.

Now, when a Democratic president does these things, the right wing gets its panties in a bunch over it. Where was the populist outrage when GWB was doing it? Where were the "teabagging" parties then?

Or is government spending and government growth only acceptable when it's a Republican president in office?

Nick
If you think conservatives were not angry about that at all, you're woefully uninformed. Or lying to yourself to feel better. Think about the numbers just a bit -- if the country is somewhat evenly split between liberals and conservatives, and Bush had an approval rating in the 20's, then even if every liberal disapproved of him, that still leaves more than half of conservatives disapproving as well.

This bullshit of whining about people disapproving of Obama, while claiming that they all approved of Bush is simple falsehood.

About 250,000 yesterday in 750 locations.

Of course, you and BHD are the only two idjits watching CNN or MSNBC, so that would have eluded you.

Carry on.

Almost 100 reported in Baltimore, but it looked like about 30 to me. I guess they cycled in and out or something.

Yeah, hilarious. 15,000 in Atlanta.

Thousands Attend Atlanta Tea Party - Politics News Story - WGCL Atlanta

Hey, here's another note: ZERO arrests here.

Oh, and one last thing: hundreds showed up to the other few "tea parties" around Atlanta - so it wasn't only downtown.
