I don't think inciteful is a word as you might have been referring to that which incites. One other thing is Glen is Glenn Beck but now please return to your insightful post.

When it comes to these mass shootings one side loves to point out that the offender had a gun (or guns). Of course one could also point out that none of the victims were able to fire back because they didn't have guns. It's a pattern which keeps repeating and keeps giving ammo (pun!) to both sides.
I'm interested to know his motives, if they can determine them. Vietnamese immigrant? I'm going to vote "purely mental illness" rather than "partially politically motivated."

Interestingly, the OP didn't mention anything about gun control. Seemed to be commenting on the apparent impact of hate-filled rhetoric that has been spewed by the conservative talking heads.
The screaming about illegal immigrants, redistribution of wealth, and the like has been particularly shrill lately. Add this to peoples' pre-existing conditions such as mental illness, racism, or whatever and you may end up with these sorts of problems.
