He said guns that enter the blackmarket man. That has nothing to do with it. There's nothing illegal about people owning guns legally, and then going to prison later. Once they're a convicted felon then it's illegal. This simply said "those that owned guns" or "handguns" in the second survey. Don't forget that about 50% of Americans own guns.

It might hold more merit if it were a survey of guns involved with a robbery or something.

I wasn't disagreeing with him. Please, for everyone's sake, learn to read.

No, that's not the case.

However, I will not support a solution that will create more problems than it will solve. That is a very realistic stance.

Do you ever have anything of substance to add to a discussion?

We get it. You voted for Obama. You think your life has meaning.

In reality, you're less interesting and intelligent than Shah and Blurr combined.

Probably not. Once you reach a certain level of ignorance and stupidity, it's hard to distinguish an insult from a complement. Thus I predict county will be walking around with his chest puffed out for the remainder of the day.

county is now up to 6 different posts. He was getting pretty fond of the "You're a moron" one. I'm proud of him showing progress. I wonder if they are letting him have pencils yet......

I don't think you do get it. The substantive point is that it's time to stop arguing who should be president on theoretical terms. From now on, the only thing that matters is what President Obama does. He's already been elected.

And if you think County is not interesting then IMHO you ought to pay better attention. He's the master of calling someone an asshole and it taking a day for them to realize it. Watch and see.

Hey, any time you need translation services, just PM me. Sometimes we all miss the point.

I've made a great career out of niche filling. Seriously.

Still haven't figured out how to bill for this one though...

I find that hard to stomach, coming from somebody who would be frothing at the mouth if I'd said that during the Bush administration.

That's gotta be one of the stupidest things I've ever seen posted anywhere...

Outrageousness packaged and presented as logical thought doesn't make it logical thought.

Let's spend a couple of billion and add a questionnaire to gun purchases. That could then be used to populate a huge database, and if people went back on their word, we could taunt them with "Liar, liar, pants on fire."
  1. Do you intend on using this gun to commit a crime?
  2. Do you swear that you will not use this gun for evil purposes?
  3. If you do end up using this gun for illegal purposes, do you promise to turn yourself in to the police as soon as possible?

That should be as effective as the volume after volume current gun laws...
