Go ahead and make whatever case you'd like to make. Naming a couple of bill nicknames ain't gonna cut it. It's simple, soundbite thinking that got you where you were. Actual learning can get you out.
back on topic, the Republicans are in trouble if they let the RINOs take over. When Republicans run as conservatives they win. When they then govern as liberals they lose. When someone who has been voting as a liberal/moderate suddenly tries to run as a conservative, they're in big trouble.
The formula for success is in the primary you shore up your base then try to get the middle during the election. McCain appealed to the middle in the primaries and was still trying to shore up the base a day before the election. 20% of "Conservatives" voted for Obama. Another 20% stayed home. add that group to McCain and subtract that 20% from Obama and the election turns out differently.

I'm not a Republican. The Republicans lost because their candidate had to go get Palin as a last ditch effort to energize the base. It worked until they realized she was an idiot. The Republicans lost because a guy they consider a RINO (Republican In Name Only) won the nomination. The Republicans lost because the current Republican President is a fool.

Have you been following the Repub post-mortem. That's why they think he lost.
he lost partially because he was a party mate of Bush and partially because Obama is very charismatic. He also lost because he didn't really have a message and when he stumbled on one (drilling for oil), he let it get away from him.
